MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate ASE certifications and a minimum of three (3) years in-field work experience required Must be able to teach: Automotive technology 英国威廉希尔中文英国威廉希尔中文网站courses Electrical systems Brake systems Engine performance suspension/steering systems Climate control systems Manual drive train/axles Automatic transmissions Engine repair TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Skill in developing lesson outlines and materials Knowledge of area of assignment Skill in presenting subject matter Skill in administering tests to evaluate students' progress Skill in the use of computers and job英国williamhill中文网-related software programs Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with adult learners Effective oral and written communication skills Knowledge of student information systems Education Requirements Minimum of Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university.Responsibilities MAJOR DUTIES: Provides professional instruction based on approved course syllabus Ensures that desired course outcomes meet the stated objectives Prepares curriculum and syllabus for coursework taught Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives Administers and grades class examinations Maintains records of student attendance and grades Attends in-service training,workshops,and seminars,as needed Maintains program certification requirements Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training areas Assists with recruitment,retention,and job placement efforts,as needed Meets with students,staff members,supervisors,as needed Application Deadline **Positions available on a semester by semester basis.**
